About Julie

Julie is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist with 6 years of clinical experience, providing professional psychotherapy sessions to individuals from all walks of life. Julie has passion for providing research and evidence based psychological treatments and counselling services to adolescents, adults and older adults. Julie mainly utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Psychodynamic approaches to provide person-centred and collaborative psychotherapy to her clients. Julie's professional experience is founded on providing counselling and psychological interventions to distressed individuals within the community mental health, non-government and private health sectors. With holistic and cross-cultural skillsets, Julie aims to provide warm, validating and sensitive psychotherapy to clients presenting with (or without) clinical diagnoses such as depression and anxiety disorders. Julie is also an eating disorders credentialed counsellor, equipped to provide the holistic and psychotherapeutic care to individuals struggling with eating and body image related concerns.

Julie loves seeing her clients gaining more self-awareness into their psychological functioning, as well as feeling empowered and at ease after receiving therapy.

Julie is currently in the process of furthering her studies and training in clinical psychology.
